I am afraid that your theme is not working on my computer now. I followed the instructions in the readme, in the video and even in the comments, and all I'm getting are the cursor icons changing. The audio won't change, and nor will the background, or folders/start menu.

I had this working initially before, but due to unforeseen circumstances had to reformat the laptop, and am now trying to install it again, but, no avail unfortunately.

I had installed the UX Theme patcher, in x64 first, and installed the Theme Resource Changer in x64. Then installed the cursors and fonts. Afterwards, I moved the folder for the theme into my Windows Theme folder, and that did nothing initially.

I then installed the x86 versions, and that only allowed my to have cursors next, but nothing else.

If you're still able to give troubleshooting, I can let you see what's going on.

im a little lost with the rainmeter weather app, i read where it said "And you may also delete "&unit=m" if you prefer the Fahrenheit Scale." but i cant find "&unit=m" mentioned any where except in that sentence and deleting it dose nothing.

If you download the Rainmeter skins, with Rainmeter installed on your computer, you can use just the skin that you want.

Do note, that it is only a skin which reflects whatever your existing player is playing. The skin is not a player in itself, but rather a ''remote'' to your player of choice. Edits may need to be made within the skin so that it knows which player you are using.

First of all, I really love it!

Then I have two questions.

1. Rainmeters media player. Can I run it with Spotify? If so, how?

2. How do I get RocketDock icons so they look the same as in the picture?

Again, thank you, I really love it! <3

1. With Spotify? I'm not sure if that is supported, but that may depend on if it's an online-only application or if it can run standalone. There may be other Rainmeter skins that can display Spotify info, and the incorporation of their code might be usable with this skin.

2. The icons have individually been modified in PhotoShop to be colorless, with the application of a filter so that they maintain a visual consistency. Rocketdock does not have settings for color manipulation of icons.

They're included with the download. You can just keep the wallpapers folder from it and then delete all the other stuff.

This theme is awesome! I do however have two questions. 1. Is there a way to change the boot up/shut down screen and the log in screen to match the theme? 2. Do you by chance know of a good screensaver to go with it?

EDIT: OK so apparently it IS possible to change the log in screen as seen here: seanachaidh125.deviantart.com/… The OP even provides a link to a tutorial.

Yep, you can change the boot animation as well. Here you go:

www.mediafire.com/download/bjh…

It's an executable program with interface that allows you to customize your boot animation, even the text that displays.

If you're referring to the theme specifically, there is no 'install' option for the theme itself. So long as Universal Theme Patcher has been run correctly and the files / folders are placed correctly, a restart should be all it needs to operate.

If you require further assistance, I can offer help via Skype's screenshare.

It took some doing but I think I have it all installed, but I noticed there are a LOT more sound files than actually get used in the sound settings it carried over, are there some that went unmapped or do you have suggestions for where those unused sound files should go?

Oh, hmm... No one's mentioned that before. I had a look back in the Sound Scheme folder and I suppose you're right.

It's up to you. I think I left a lot in there for it to be optional to the user, if they want to change some of the sounds for other ones in the folder.

Feel free to toss whichever ones you don't want. You can remap any of 'em via right-clicking desktop -> Personalization -> Sounds

Likely a negatory. Win 8 utilizes a different visual style altogether, but I have not tried as I do not have Win 8.

By 'gadgets', might you be referring to the Rainmeter skins? (the white-text things in the four corners of the screen)

If so, there's a link to the tutorial for them in the description box.

Eeyup!

-Run the MLP theme on your computer and right-click the desktop to go to 'Personalize'.
-Near the bottom-right, go to 'Sounds'.
-In Sounds, there should be a drop-down menu for "Sound Scheme:" with a 'Save As...' button next to it.
-Save the MLP Sound Scheme, then change your desktop theme to whatever theme you want to use.
-Go back to 'Sounds' and load up the MLP sound scheme and press OK!

I've seen similar comments, but I have not personally encountered this error myself. So long as the folders and theme file are placed correctly, all should work accordingly.

Also, a safe measure that I have found to fix most general issues is this:
run the Universal Theme Patcher to patch both the 64-bit *and* 32-bit versions. For some reason, this seems to clear up some errors.
